TAG TEAM?
In the Raw main event, Regal’s final decree as General Manager played out well for Randy Orton & JBL, who defeated The Game & John Cena in a tag team battle, ensuring they would get their desired rematches at One Night Stand – with extreme stipulations of their choosing.

Unfortunately for the Legend Killer, it seems as though he may be making his way off of P25. In his match against Triple H at One Night Stand, the "Age of Orton" ended with a broken clavicle.

Orton suffers broken collarbone

SAN DIEGO – The Last Man Standing Match at One Night Stand proved to be WWE Champion Triple H’s means of abolishing the “Age of Orton,” but also injuring the Legend Killer, who suffered a broken left collarbone.

In the heat of battle, Randy Orton looked to deliver a critical blow – the RKO – to The Game. The challenger carefully sized up his former mentor and dashed toward him at a seemingly perfectly calculated moment, but the veteran champion reversed the attempted strike and hurled Orton over the top rope to the arena floor.

In addition to the pained scowl on the Legend Killer’s face immediately after the fall and well after the match on his way back to the locker room, the injury was indicated by heavy swelling and bruising. After being examined at the San Diego Sports Arena by WWE medical staff, Orton was immediately transported to a local medical facility for further treatment.

SAN DIEGO – The term “extreme” was redefined at One Night Stand as WWE Champion Triple H took his encounter with Randy Orton to such ends, en route to retaining the coveted gold as the Last Man Standing.

In an arena-wide war with his former protégé-turned-rival, The Game ultimately turned to his time-tested ally, the sledgehammer, to ensure that the “Age of Orton” would be snuffed out with the referee’s count of 10. To add substantial injury to the title match loss, the Legend Killer also suffered a broken left collarbone after Triple H reversed an attempted RKO and hurled Orton over the top rope to the floor.
